The Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association helps graduates of Leadership St. Pete, a program of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber Foundation, and others to support the improvement of our local, state, and national communities. Our purpose is to:

  • Encourage VOLUNTEER activities in the civic, social service, health, and government areas of the community, state and nation.
  • Help resolve the economic, social, and political COMMUNITY issues
  • Support the LEADERSHIP ST. PETE Program through recruitment and scholarship opportunities. 
  • Organize social events between Leadership St. Pete Alumni and the COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

LEADERSHIP ST. PETE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
PURPOSES & POWERS (mission statement)

According to the Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association Bylaws the specific purposes for which this Corporation is organized are as follows:

  • To encourage voluntary activities in the civic, social service, health and government areas in the community (as well as on a state and national level) by graduates of Leadership St. Pete and others in the community;
  • To initiate the collective discussion and resolution of community issues and concerns by members of the Corporation and others in the community;
  • To support the continued development, expansion, and operation of the Leadership St. Pete program; and
  • To arrange social events on a regular basis so as to encourage social inter-action among the members of the Corporation and with the leadership structure of the community.
