Alumni Spotlight - Kevin Elliott
LSP Class of 2025

For Kevin Elliott, leadership is about more than numbers on a spreadsheet. As Assistant Vice President of Finance at PARC Center for Disabilities, he helps guide financial strategy, accounting, and long-term planning to ensure the organization remains strong, sustainable, and able to deepen its impact for the individuals and families it serves.
That work matters deeply to him because it supports something much bigger than budgets alone. It helps create stability, opportunity, and meaningful care for people across our community.
One recent win Kevin is especially proud of is the completion of PARC’s new $10 million state-of-the-art Children’s Services Center. With the help of the community, the project has already made a major difference in PARC’s ability to serve and support children and families. It is the kind of milestone that reflects both vision and collective effort — and one that Kevin clearly sees as a shared success.
He is also quick to point out that finance at PARC goes far beyond traditional accounting. In addition to supporting the organization’s financial operations, the accounting team helps provide wraparound support for residents, including personal fund management that directly affects daily life. At the same time, they support 320 employees and 500 daily community participants. It is work that is both highly technical and deeply personal — something many people may not immediately realize.
When asked about a Leadership St. Pete moment he will never forget, Kevin did not hesitate: the Class of 2025 catwalk competition in Tallahassee. A memorable moment for many, he describes it as a true team-building experience and one that still stands out as a highlight from the program.
The relationships built through LSP have also continued to shape Kevin’s life and work. One especially meaningful connection has been with Rachel at the Dalí Museum, who recently welcomed PARC participants for a special visit. It became a joyful day of art, laughter, and shared experience — and, as Kevin shared, an opportunity that would not have happened without her.
LSP has also influenced the way Kevin leads. He says the program reminded him to lead with intention, stay engaged in the community, and use his role to create meaningful connections and opportunities for others. That perspective shows clearly in the way he talks about service, impact, and partnership.
At PARC, the new Children’s Services Center has also become a true passion project. While the building is complete, the fundraising campaign remains open until the full $10 million goal is reached. So far, $8.5 million has been raised. Kevin encourages others to support by helping raise awareness, sharing PARC’s mission, or visiting the campus to see the work firsthand. In fact, he is happy to personally give tours — and promises it is an amazing experience.
One community need Kevin wishes more people understood is the importance of life-enhancing opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He finds it incredibly inspiring to see PARC participants actively engaged and included in community life, and he believes that impact extends far beyond the individual — enriching everyone involved.
As for alumni visiting town, Kevin’s hidden gem pick is Link Heights, which he calls the best little bar in town.
His perfect Saturday? Sunshine, a high of 75 degrees, and time spent improving his landscaping. And if you have ever been lucky enough to attend one of Kevin’s beautifully planned, thoughtfully executed themed parties in his magical backyard, you already know how much care and attention he puts into every detail. That same spirit carries into the way he shows up in every room — his enthusiasm and warm, welcoming smile have a way of drawing people in instantly.
And the best advice he has ever received is simple but powerful:
“There are no justified resentments.”
A quote often associated with Dr. Wayne Dyer, it is a line that reflects Kevin’s thoughtful, grounded approach to life and leadership.
Since graduation, Kevin has continued to stay involved by attending as many LSPAA social events as he can and serving on the Friday Forums Committee — another example of his commitment to staying connected and engaged.
