Who is Eligible to Apply?
Anyone who has graduated from the Leadership St. Pete program and is a member in good standing with the LSP Alumni Association is eligible to apply to the LSPAA Board of Directors or join an LSPAA Committee as non-Board member.
What is the Board Selection Process?
Each prospective candidate must complete an application. All applications are reviewed by the LSPAA Nominations Committee which is chaired by the LSPAA President Elect and comprised of current Directors. The Committee will present their nominations to the Board for approval of the new Directors.
Note of exception: For the graduating LSP class, a ballot listing the nominees will be provided to the LSP class for a vote at the closing retreat. In addition to the class vote, the LSP Planning Committee will also provide input on the nominees to the Nominations Chair. The Nominations Committee will make the final decision based on the needs of the Board. An announcement will be made at the LSP Class’ Graduation Dinner.
